Zecko Trekking Tick Flea Repellent for People
Ecological flea repellent device for people
Zecko is the ideal solution to wear to keep ticks and fleas away from people during physical and sporting activities in contact with nature. A totally ecological solution without any contraindications that does not use potentially harmful chemicals.
Completely non-toxic, Zecko is a protective device that works by emitting ultrasonic pulses that cause neither harm nor discomfort to people (including pace-maker or other device wearers) and animals, but disturb ticks and fleas by keeping them away. The ultrasound emitted is only able to act on the nervous system of ticks and fleas, causing them a strong disturbance that forces them to leave the person and simultaneously prevents them from attacking again.
Zecko Electronic Ultrasonic Tick and Flea Device can be attached to clothing by means of the built-in clip or a lanyard passed through the ring.
Zecko is equipped with two emitters that act frontally at wide range and to the right, left and bottom sides.
Range of action of approximately 3 metres.
Product tested by certified body for electromagnetic compatibility and ultrasonic emission. Effectiveness tested in universities.
Environmentally friendly - Non-toxic - Chemical-free - Splash and moisture resistant (IP13).
Use: pull the tab to activate the inserted lithium battery. To switch the device on or off, press the button: five short red flashes indicate switching on, one long red flash indicates switching off. Once activated, the battery lasts about ten months: to find out if Zecko is still working, press the button and check that the LED flashes.
Average battery life (NOT REPLACEABLE) is no less than 2,400 hours. Device with auto switch-off after 24 hours.
What are ultrasounds?
Ultrasounds are harmless air vibrations, like a sound, that have nothing to do with the harmful electromagnetic radiation emitted by, for example, mobile phones.
Ultrasounds are mechanical sound waves that have the ability to saturate environments by spreading in all directions, occupying even the most remote and inaccessible spaces.
Unlike acoustic phenomena proper, the frequencies that characterise ultrasound are higher than those audible to the average human ear.
The term ultrasound itself clearly indicates what is beyond (ultra) sound, identifying with sound only the audible physical phenomenon. Ultrasound has found and continues to find a number of uses in the medical field and, recently, this same technology has also found application in pest and pest sanitation systems.
The various technologies available for the generation and use of ultrasound allow for its absolute control and consequently its total harmlessness for those who, for various reasons, come into close contact with it.
Ultrasounds are generated through the use of extremely safe and controlled processes and systems that offer a total correspondence with the request to reach the frequency number within which the ultrasonic signal will be placed. Once the range has been verified and defined and sampled, the signal obtained will be reproducible in an almost perfect manner whenever needed.
