THE NOVEL INSPIRED BY THE STORY OF THE INVENTORS OF THE 'LIGHT' HEMP MARKET
THE BOOK
The story of one of the most disruptive entrepreneurial realities of recent years in Italy, narrated in the first person by the plant that in recent years has been the subject, all over the world and most recently also in Italy, of a resounding re-discovery. Hemp, cannabis, marijuana, whatever you want to call it, is told, and he tells us how a gauntlet thrown down to the system of the 'war on drugs' has become such an interesting business that it has even involved huge amounts of foreign capital. With the lightness that befits this plant, it casts a glance at our country, the western social system and consumer society, to the point of questioning the very meaning of certain words that are too often abused rather than used correctly. The form of the novel is visionary just enough to shift the events from the news to a more intimate level of reflection, focused precisely on the vicissitudes of what is, after all, a plant, and as such innocent with respect to the problems that we humans build around it.
THE AUTHORS
Rita Felicetti (1978), DAMS graduate actress, director and theatre author; she has been working in theatre since 1997 as an actress . Since 2002 she has been writing and performing semi-comical monologues with social themes. She lives in Bologna where she draws, teaches theatre and plays drums preferably in punk-rock style. Tommaso Felicetti (1980), professional journalist, is editor-in-chief of the online newspaper Gazzetta di Bologna. After graduating in communication sciences and socio-cultural animation, he completed a two-year master's degree in journalism. He carries out his work as a journalist and writer with a Rastafarian outlook: 'Equal rights and justice for all'. Reporting on human rights that are trampled on, suffered or obtained can be a weapon against those who do not respect the rights of others. He believes that journalism is one of the highest tools to defend democracy.
